Granada Airport in a Nutshell

Granada -Jaen Airport is located in the region of La Vega del Genil and is situated 17 km from Granada and 106 km from Jaen. The A-92 national motorway connects Granada Airport with the city centre and heads towards Malaga to the west and Almeria to the east.

Passengers arriving into Granada Airport go through one of two gates on the ground floor of the terminal building. The baggage reclaim area has 3 luggage belts and is where the passport control and the Granada tourist board information desk is located. Taxis at Granada Airport are readily available and situated directly outside the arrivals hall.

No train service is present at Granada Airport but there is a bus service into the city centre that runs at regular intervals and coincides with the flight arrivals. If you are picking someone up at Granada Airport or if you are flying out from Granada Airport and need to park your car there the parking costs are not that expensive but it if you are planning on leaving your car at Granada airport for a while it may be worthwhile parking in the long term car park on the approach road to the Airport.
