at 10:32 PMA fourth big benefit is all horse boarding stables have vets on call, so in case anything should happen, your horse will be the first to be looked after..
Lastly, the 5th point in support is going to be that your horse will be happiest with other horses to run with. Most stables have open paddocks that allow the horses free roaming time, which is great for the mental wellbeing of your horse.
show up at a hotel with your pet
at 9:44 PM- Ask for details about their pet policies.
- Ask what specific types, sizes and even maximum number of pets you are allowed to bring (presuming you want to bring more than one pet.) This is important, because some hotels only allow dogs and some allow only one pet per room.
- Ask if there are additional fees. A few hotels may not charge extra for pets but most will charge a one-time cleaning fee, per pet, per night or per stay.
- Ask what types of rooms are available to guests with pets. Some hotels have only a limited number of rooms for pet owners. If you have specifications for a room, such as a Jacuzzi or other amenities, ask if these are available to pet owners like you.
- Ask what services are available for pets. Some hotels offer food and water bowls, pet-sitting or dog-walking services.
- The most obvious one would be: your pet should be housetrained. He should not "do his business" anywhere he wants and he should not chew or scratch. He should be quiet (or will be quiet on command). He should not be running around the room and knocking everything over and breaking things.
- Always keep your pet under control. Even if the hotel allows dogs to run without a leash, make sure he comes back when you call him. Pets usually become confused in unfamiliar surroundings.
- Do not allow your pet to bother other guests or guest pets. There are people who are afraid of animals or just don't like pets. Don't allow your pet to jump on or rush at other hotel guests. Make sure that your pet doesn't lick or lean on other guests unless you're sure that the guests don't mind. You should also restrain your pet from approaching other guest pets because some animals do not like meeting other pets.
- When pets are in unfamiliar territory, they may exhibit behaviour that they normally would not when they are in familiar surroundings. Some dogs tend to bark at everyone and everything in unfamiliar territories. That is why you should never leave your pet unattended.
- Sometimes accidents happen even if your pet is well-behaved. Always take responsibility and pay for any damages that your pet may cause.
- Always respect the pet policy of the hotel that you choose. If you do not like their rules, look for another hotel that has a pet policy that is suited to your needs.
Dog Friendly Holidays-all the hassle and consider a dog friendly holiday!
at 9:44 PMYes for as little as £10 your dog can stay in a hotel with you. Many establishments throughout England, Scotland and Wales know how much we love our pets so they welcome you and your dog as guests at their hotels.
What could be more hassle free than a holiday home from home! There has never been more of a selection of holiday homes that allow dogs to stay. The Lake District and other rural areas are well known for being dog friendly but more and more property owners are offering the opportunity to their guests each year.

at 4:17 AMToday we are here to talk to you about the gorgeous state of Maine and why it can become one of the most ideal destinations for you, your dog and family.
Maine is one of the most northern states in America. Located on the East coast, it has a varied number of landscapes to enjoy and among them we must mention the coastal line, perfect for fishing and other aquatic activities, the rocky areas and finally some interesting urban places where to enjoy comfort and modernity. With several lighthouses to discover, Maine offers you interesting opportunities for your dogs and children to interact with nature. In this sense, whale watching is always recommended, while you can also tour the dense and beautiful woods and lakes. And last but not least, Maine celebrates numerous festivals along the year and they are all truly colorful and marvelous to enjoy.
As for accommodation in Maine that can be good for families, you should try the Oakland House Seaside Resort, a tranquil and relaxing resort located in 1 435 Herrick Road, in the gorgeous city of Brooksville. There you will be able to enjoy a nice refined rooms fully equipped with the best amenities and of course the hotels is pet allowed.
If you want to visit another part of Maine, you can go to Bangor. There you should consider the Ramada Inn Bangor, which is located in 357 Odlin Rd. With swimming pools, steam room and sauna, spa services, on site dining options, room service and several nearby recreational options for your dog.
Pet Friendly Hotels
at 4:15 AMIf you're looking for a reliable source to book your next hotel for your dog or cat (and you of course), you'll want to check on the Official Pet Hotels website. This terrific site not only will reserve the rooms for you - often at a discounted rate - but also verifies the pet policies with the hotels directly.
Their system couldn't be easier to use. From the time you log on, you'll see a clear and easy-to-use reservation system. Once you've looked up your destination, you'll get a list of the hotels which want you and your best friend.
Sort the list as you prefer and then click on any of the links. You'll get a complete review, photos, map, directions and rates along with all the descriptions and amenities you can want to know about. What's really important, is they'll show you - very clearly - whether or not the pet policy has been checked recently by them and, if so, it will define clearly what the policy is.
Many hotels which allow pets put a restriction on the size of your buddy. Some only allow dogs and some only cats. In some hotels there is a fee involved anywhere from around $25.00 to over $200.00 for the 5 stars. So be sure to check this before you book your reservation. One thing is sure, every hotel is different as to how much space they'll give the darlings once there so make sure you really are clear on what to expect.
This pet-friendly hotel reservation service really is useful to animal lovers as many of the hotels don't put their pet policies on their web sites. The great thing to know is that there are some wonderful hotels which are clearly owned by animal lovers and will welcome you with open arms. So the next time you're ready to go on the road with Fido, be sure to check them out.
